The number of people who drowned in 2014 was the highest in twelve years, 137 people died. It shows statistics from the Swedish Life Saving Society now wants parliament to adopt a zero tolerance of drowning.
In California drowned last year 12 people.
In a debate article in Dagens Nyheter today require representatives of the Lifesaving Society zero tolerance and a national plan for how the work to prevent drownings to go to.
