Halland police respond critically to the rail traffic had been stopped when police officers were out at the tracks south of Halmstad to look for a person who they feared was about to take his life .
– This is like a serial, there have been incidents throughout Sweden, says Kjell Borgström, chief safety officer at the Halland police, to the Evening Post online.
At the latest event in Halland, January 7, police had twice been told that traffic was stopped. Nonetheless it was two trains and the affected officers have now written an incident report.
– We policemen have quite often stay up on the train tracks to do our job, says Kjell Borgström.
Now he is calling for better communication between police and Traffic Authority.
– We will certainly look into the matter and see what happened, says Eva north at the Swedish Transport Administration, the kVp.
