Two killed in a knife attack at Ikea – Expressen

Two people – a man and a woman – were killed in a knife attack at Ikea in Vasteras.

Another person is seriously injured and emergency surgery.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

– It was scary. When I drove past one of the other entrances at the back of Ikea, I saw that the entire staff was assembled there. Someone looked sad. Then I saw more ambulances and police cars.

Therese Dahlberg went shopping at Ikea with his mother when the attack took place.

– We saw that there was a large crowd on the floor below, and that security guards stood and discussed. We thought some fallen out, and did not think much more about it. But then there was a sudden evacuation, and we were told by staff that the police and ambulance were iblandade, she says and continues:

– Then we heard from other visitors that one been stabbed, and that someone might even killed. Of course it’s hard. One is shocked like this happens so close. That one goes to shop at Ikea and suddenly have to go and think “I’ll be stabbed today.”
