Homes evacuated after false alarm – Radio Sweden

The police evacuated the two properties in Ulricehamn after a package, with the text “bomb” found on a car roof. But the package was harmless.

At 14 o’clock discovered a woman a box with the text “bomb” on the roof of his car, which was parked on Höjdgatan. From the package stuck it out threads.

– Police patrol sent to the scene could not dismiss it all, so in the afternoon, the bomb team was in place, says Lars Gunnar Gustafsson, assistant officer in charge of police officer in West Bengal.

With the help of a robot lifted the box down from the roof of the car at 18 o’clock.

– Police cordoned of the area, two properties were evacuated by security reasons, says Gustafsson.

According to the police, there is no threat to the woman who found the package. At 19 o’clock police reported that the package was harmless.
