KARLSTAD . The Green Party has chosen mouthpiece of the Congress.
Isabella Lövin replace Åsa Romson and Gustav Fridolin renewed confidence.
– I think we have got a strong mandate to take the Green Party election 2018 says Fridolin.
Green Party Congress in Karlstad delegates now chosen mouthpiece. As expected, the Development Cooperation Isabella Lövin, taking over after Åsa Romson, who held his farewell speech this morning. Lövin was supported by 229 agents, nearly 90 percent of the delegates.
At the same time re-elected Gustav Fridolin, who was supported by 200 agents, which is less than what he received when he was elected spokesperson last time. He was supported by 75 percent of the delegates.
271 voting representatives were on site during the vote, 263 voted in favor.
– I feel incredibly honored and tagged, says Isabella Lövin.
– I think we have got a strong mandate to take the Green Party for the election in 2018. We have had an open and honest discussion in the party. Then you can get a fresh start. I’m proud of every one of my 200 votes, says Gustav Fridolin.
