Borlänge will now have a neutral cemetery where the deceased can get their final resting irrespective of religion, reports Swedish Radio P4 Dalarna.
This means that non-believers or people who are not Christians can be buried in a separate location at Stora Tuna church. It is probably the first neutral grave site in Sweden, according to the echo.
No one has booked a neutral gravesite but several have expressed interest, according to the promoter Joseph Erdem.
