Ceremony ported from parliament – Västerbotten Courier

A total of 162 individuals and organizations working for sustainable development, democracy, human rights and peace, from 67 different countries received the Right Livelihood Award, among them Denis Mukwege, Astrid Lindgren and Wangari Maathai.

Even whistle-blower Edward Snowden has been awarded the prize, but he has not yet been able to receive it.
