The government’s refugee policies can have “terrible consequences,” said Education Minister Gustav Fridolin (MP) in the echo Saturday interview.

Now warns the Conservatives to the crack between the S and MP in the issue of migration is directly harmful to Sweden.

Someone pissed arrangement may actually be in a government, says Johan Forssell migration policy spokesperson for the Conservatives, who fear that the government will not cope enforce its own immigration policy.

the end of May is envisaged that Sweden’s refugee policy will be tightened in several areas after the bloc agreed in autumn. Among other proposed temporary residence permits and the limited opportunities for family reunification.

Contested proposals

The government has described the aim of the proposals is to reduce the number of asylum seekers coming to Sweden. It has been questioned by a number of commentators, including the Attorney General points out that the government has not made any analysis of the impact of the proposals actually get.

It’s hard to know, says Fridolin to echo, it points out the number of asylum seekers has actually fallen since November when the proposals presented – although it also can have other causes, such as the weather.

Meanwhile, says Gustav Fridolin that the proposals may change before they are handed over to Parliament.

Yes, of course. It does not send out something on the referral for fun.

“Fuck Politics”

Fridolin has called the government’s own refugee policy of “crap”. And in the interview, he criticizes several of their own government’s decision on stricter rules.

The risks being counter-productive and have terrible consequences for the individual. For example, the temporary residence permits of children and limitations in family immigration.

The Moderates are now questioning whether the government is able to impose its own policies.

The Prime Minister is saying one thing about refugee policy, immigration minister agree, and then in Saturday’s interview today says Gustav Fridolin on point after point opposite. I wonder, how do they want it anyway? asks Johan Forssell. Gustav Fridolin opens to withdraw parts of the bill has been announced. Even before you have presented it as he starts back.

According to Forssell would be directly harmful to Sweden if the government fails to implement what it announced in refugee policy.

According to the government, the purpose with the temporary law to reduce the number of asylum seekers coming to Sweden by three years adapting the Swedish regulations to the EU minimum level. Fewer asylum seekers to Sweden should contribute to a more equitable distribution of asylum seekers within the EU.

Temporary residence permits, for the majority of only one year at a time, to be a rule in place of permanent state.

Opportunities for family immigration is limited and supply requirements are tightened.

Certain categories of asylum seekers today can obtain a residence permit will no longer be able to get it.
