An 18-year-old woman was found shot near a falafelrestaurang at a cost of around in the night at 03.30-time. The woman must have been in the company of a man when she was shot and is seriously injured.
Police and ambulances alerted at 03.30-time to a shooting at a falafelrestaurang in the Western Kattarpsvägen. When police arrived they found a severely wounded by a gun shot a woman in a green area just behind the falafelrestaurangen.
Ambulances were called forward and quickly took care of the skottskadade. The police blocked since of a large area in the green belt area and about 300 metres of the Western Kattarpsvägen in height with falafelrestaurangen.
According to the initial information should the woman have been in the company of a man when she was hit by the shots. The man was left with her when the first patrol arrived at the scene. He has been consulted by police but is not suspected of any crime.
– There is no known threat against the skottskadade woman, ” says Malmöpolisens press officer Nils Norling, who tells us that the same is true for the man.
Police have not located the exact scene of the crime and do not yet know what is behind the shooting which is being investigated as an attempted murder. The first data pointing towards that it should have been in the vicinity of the area where the woman was found.
“They should have taken a bit from the place where it occurred,” says Nils Norling, who do not want to go into what the man and the woman have been told about how the shooting happened.
“Of what has been said, we have not been able to obtain any suspect,” he says.
Police searched during the night and morning of the area with vapenhundar but without making any findings that may be linked to the shooting.
the Woman treated at a hospital and her condition is described by the Region Skåne’s press office as “serious but stable”. The police expect to be able to hear the woman later during the day, and to conduct outreach in search of more witness testimony. The investigators want to get in touch with other people who can sit inside with information about what happened.
