Man to the hospital after the accident in the mine – Västerbottens Folkblad

A man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after a workplace injury in the LKAB:s mine in Kiruna, sweden, at 21.30.

the Man in the 55-year-olds would carry out maintenance work in one of the stenkrossarna down in the mine when he suddenly was crushed wired, reports the NSD.

— He’s got damage on the ankle, and in the face, ” says Fredrik Björkenwall, information officer at LKAB, to the newspaper.

stone crusher was turned off and the man would clear out the scrap metal when the accident suddenly occurred.

the Accident will be notified to the Swedish work environment authority and is being investigated also by the police.
