Girls associating wits with men rather than women already at the age of six, which may affect girls ‘ choices in life, reveals a study by us researchers.
the Results showed that the five-year girls and boys looked positively on their respective sex, while far fewer six – and seven-year-old girls associated wits with their own sex than their peers boys.
the Differences were similar regardless of children’s socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
