A man is missing after two cars have collided on the E4 highway between Ljungaskog and Örkelljunga.
Police are searching for a man who disappeared in connection with a traffic accident on the E4 highway, at the Örkeljunga, at 14 o’clock on Monday.
“We have not anträffat the man who avek from the site, and is of course interested in getting hold of the person, so that he is not hurt or shocked,” says Fredrik Bratt, at the police command center in the southern region.
A man in their 80s came over in the wrong direction on E4 in Örkelljunga – he drove south on the northbound side of the highway E4. Where the collided he with another car.
The older man was left on the site, but the driver of the other vehicle stack from the site, ” says Fredrik Bratt.
The 80-year-old man is brought to the hospital by ambulance. An investigation has been launched to find out why he came over on the wrong side.
“We should investigate which kind of offences that may be relevant,” says Fredrik Bratt.
Despite the fact that several patrols searched for the missing man, the police at 17.30-the time is still no trace of him.
