The attorney-general to appeal the judgment in the Lotta-murder HD – Aftonbladet

Martin Jonsson, 33, was sentenced in court to 18 years in prison for the murder of Lotta Rudholm.

Now has the attorney-general appealed against the judgment to the Supreme court.

"The worst I’ve seen"

115 kg heavy Martin Jonsson had then assaulted the 59-kg heavy Lotta Rudholm by beating her with his fists in the face so hard that one of the police officers who arrived at the scene described it as "the worst I’ve seen".

Now attorney-general, Anders Perklev appealed against the judgment to the Supreme court, and you want the judge Jonsson to life in prison, evidenced by a press release.

"According to the prosecutor general to give a life sentence better protection against the offender to commit new crimes, since the risk of relapse to be tested before it is determined when the release can take place. It is also clear that the intention of the legislature is that imprisonment for life should be used to a greater extent than in the past.
