It was shortly before the 08 o’clock on new year’s day as the alarm on the fire at Boulebar in Rålambshovsparken on Kungsholmen came in to the emergency services.

– It is restaurangbyggnaden at boulebanan in the park that is burning. It is a fully developed fire, ” says Fredrik Olsson, ledningsoperatör at ssbf.

He continues:

– We are working right now to limit the damage. I have no information on how much of the restaurant will go to save.

Strong smoke

No persons have been injured in the fire. It is stated to be no risk of contagion.

Accommodations in the area be warned, however, of the heavy smoke.

– It spreads a lot of smoke over the island of Kungsholmen. Residents are urged to close windows, doors and ventilation. If you feel discomfort, you should try to avoid the smoke, ” says Fredrik Olsson.

To investigate the cause
