Fagersta municipality may sharply criticized by the Parliamentary Ombudsman (JO). A municipal auditor took too long to disclose a public document – and tried to find out what documents would be used, reports SR P4 Västmanland.
It took over a month before being disclosed. It indicates a significant lack of knowledge of the rules, according to the Ombudsman.
The municipality explains what happened to the documents was packed away in boxes because the municipal audit was changing rooms.
Now, the documents will begin to be stored digitally, and employees are trained in what to do.
