A young woman managed to escape out of a burning apartment in Borås on Thursday afternoon. She was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation, according to several media.
– She ran through the burning hall. Injury Situation is unclear. We have launched a preliminary investigation of arson, says Fredrik Zetterlund, internal command at Boras police, to GT.
According to the emergency services there are indications that someone threw a burning liquid through the mail slot. The fire must have been very fast and the apartment is completely burned out.
No other apartments in the house must have been damaged by the fire.
