Police investigating the suspected attempted murder after a taxi driver was found stabbed outside the police station.
At 3:15 tonight phoned a taxi driver in SOS Alarm and screamed that he was stabbed.
The man was then in a taxi outside the police station in Norrkoping.
When police anträffade man he had wounds in the chest and abdomen and was taken by ambulance to hospital.
Police said that the man was conscious when he was driven to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation concerning a suspected attempted murder, alternatively attempted manslaughter, has now been launched after the event.
police said that they want to get in touch with the last customer who chauförren ran before he alerted the police.
– This person is not a formal suspect, but are givetsvis very interesting for the reason that we have evidence to suggest that he has been chaffuörens last customer. The important thing is that we come in contact with him and so we can interrogate him to find out if he has something with the offense to do or have other information that may be of importance in the case, said police spokesman Thomas Agnevik.
The client is said to be a man of 40-50 years old to have been dressed in what police believe is a beige suede jacket.
The man should have been taken up by the driver in the vicinity of the Old Rådstugugatan 33 in Norrköping.
Police said on their website that they are interested to get in contact with any witnesses who may have seen the crime against the taxi driver at 3 o’clock in the night.
Many people will have already heard about the incident and police. Thomas Agnevik state that police also confiscated the taxi, a white VW Caddy, which will now undergo a forensic examination.
– We are just in the initial stages of the investigation and are looking for more witnesses to the incident, said Thomas Agnevik.

The motive for the crime, police at present unknown.
– We have no motive yet, it may be that the aim has only been to hurt or there may be a crude motives, do not know it now, and it is something we will investigate, says Thomas Agnevik.
Some suspected weapons have not been confiscated by the police after the incident.
