Freja Lindberg was featured in an article about pronouns and gender identities. But himself became hen felkönad several times. – It is totally to hell that it was so, says Hen.

The 18-year-old Freya Lindberg was in a Metro article about different pronouns and gender identities. Freya Lindberg is not binary transgender and pronoun hen. But in the article Konäs Freja she repeatedly. Something that has attracted criticism in social media. And Freya Lindberg is disappointed.

– It is totally to hell it was. And it is so common, just when one should take up such issues. When transgender people are given space, it cispersoner as for transgender action. This is why it often gets very skewed angle, says Hen.

Prior to the publication received Freya Lindberg inform the reporter’s article twice. But still, it was ultimately wrong.

– The person who interviewed me sent a draft to me twice and had felkönat me in several places in both versions. I had to rewrite the text because they had angled my formulations in a wrong way. And yet felkönade me twice in the physical magazine and the hen continues:

– The felköning occurs is what contributes and maintains existing structures. Metro writing an article about how harmful it is, and then commit the exact same error that is the core of the whole oppression. It is so incredibly skewed.

When Freya Lindberg saw the magazine in the early morning contacted the hen reporter.

– The reporter said it was totally indefensible from their side . They would summon the entire editorial staff of a conversation about this. They understand their mistake, but that there has been absolutely incomprehensible.

A person who responded in social media was Stina Wollter which published a picture of the item on Twitter.

– I have followed it utterly inexplicable and unbridled hatred faced by Freya mainly on Instagram. I know how hen feeling of being felkönad. Deciding to do an article and then do exactly what they are writing about, it is as absurd.

But Stina Wollter mean it is time that it raised a discussion.

– We are in a time of growing pains. People who demands to be respected and made visible. It may be difficult for some time for people to get used to it. Different pronouns, gender identities and so there. Jädrar was going on automatically at times. How do we solve this? Let’s talk about how easy it can be wrong and how to access it.

And Metro recognizes his mistake.

– This is a embarrassing miss of us, especially since the article is right about the problem that people felkönas. We apologize and will obviously bring a correction in tomorrow’s paper. We will also write more articles on the subject, writes Eric Ljunggren, Metro’s manager publisher, in a text message to the GC.

cisgender is, very simply, those who are not transgender. Quite simply, a person whose body, legal, gender and gender identity are interrelated according to the norm. A person who was born with snipp and received the “woman” registered in the population register, which looks and has always seen himself as the girl / woman is like a cistjej / ciskvinna.

Non-Binary , the person calling himself who identify themselves as between or beyond the woman-man division of gender. Sometimes “non-binary” as an umbrella term for various gender identities that do not follow tvåkönsnormen. Non-Binary does not mean the same thing for all who define themselves as. Some feel that both girls and boys. Others feel that they are among the categories. Many non binary does not feel that any sex at all.

Pronouns , for example, she, he, hen, and the – what you want to be called when someone talking about a third person (for example: hen is nice, I like the hen). Pronouns can hang with even the sex / gender identity, but need not do so. Some prefer to be referred to by their first names instead of pronouns. If you are unsure about someone’s pronouns can issue in a single call (eg: “Which pronoun you / Which pronoun do you want that I use you?”), Use the person’s name instead of pronouns or turn to the person and say “you” if you participate in a group.

tranny is an umbrella concept which aims to accommodate all of the diversity of identities, groups and people in different ways identify as trans. Tranny may be the person to call themselves that violate social norms around gender and sexual identity. Sometimes the English term trans * with the same meaning. Common to trans people is that even gender identity or expression does not match with the legal sex you had when you were born and which was determined by how one’s body looked like and was interpreted then. The concept of transgender people include people who want to correct their body and change legal gender (transsexual) people who are neither male or female (such bigender, genderqueer, non-binary, intergender), people who use clothing and other attributes that are usually considered as typical for other than their own sex (cross dresser, transvestite), artists who exaggerate gender-coded attributes when they appear (draw) and people who do not want, or think it is important to define itself in terms of gender (for example agender, non-binary , neutrois, nongender). Trans has nothing to do with one’s sexuality to do, but it is about gender identity. As a transgender person may be gay, heterosexual, bisexual, asexual or anything else.
