Abandoned infant found in hotels – the social search for the parents – Metro

On Saturday morning, police received in Västerbotten an alarm about an abandoned baby found in a hotel in Skellefteå.

– Just after eight o’clock call staff and say they found a child lying in a pram in reception, said Michael Liljenberg duty officer at the county communication center in Västerbotten.

He pays tribute to the hotel’s staff and guests and say they have done a good job of taking care of the child.

– When we got there we found that the child is feeling under the circumstances, says Michael Liljenberg.

Barnet was dressed in overalls and slightly warm when it was found. The police handed over the case to social services began searching for the parents. Police said now that the social rediscovered parents, but want under P4 Vasterbotten not comment on what is behind the event.
