Mehmet Kaplan has in Studio One told of the arrangement for criticizing the dinner:
According to Kaplan, it was an event which is organized every year by organizations and individuals every night during Ramadan, where they break the fast together.
– At my table sat there no people who had strange views. But at one of the other tables sat there a person who has since resigned from the Turkish National Association Board. And anyone else that I’ve been told that stands for an organization that is very long right and I have nothing in common with either ideological or personal.
Kaplan says that he did not know who were invited. Much later realized Kaplan who was the dinner. When he realized it was a representative was Kaplan dismayed.
– I have been throughout my political life for human rights and equality of all people and actually fought against extremism.
It was a large room with about 50 invited, says Mehmet Kaplan. To Barbaros Leylani who in a speech at Sergel Square recently called for death to Armenians, had to resign think Kaplan is good.
