One person has been found dead in an apartment in Limhamn in western Malmö.
A major fire broke out in the apartment of an apartment block at night and the police and emergency services were alerted to the scene. The deceased was found in connection with the fighting after the fire, said the duty officer at Skåne police to TT.
The rescue services were able to get control of the fire and prevent it spreading to other homes, reported Sydsvenskan. Several apartments had smoke damage in connection with the fire.
There are currently no suspicion of a crime in connection with the death.
