Seven to hospital after accident in Karlskoga, Sweden – Aftonbladet

On Tuesday evening collided a truck and a passenger car on the E18 highway in the outskirts of Karlskoga.

Seven people have been hospitalized and one of them is the condition life-threatening.

– Five people have been transferred to Örebro hospital, two of them with minor injuries, two with serious injuries but not life-threatening and a person has life-threatening injuries. Two have been to Karlskoga hospital with serious injuries, but they should not be life threatening. So a total of seven people taken to hospital, says Ulrika Juhlin, Communications at the region Örebro.

There are the four people who were traveling in the car that should have been more severe injuries and one of them was taken to hospital by helicopter. It is unclear at what age the most seriously injured person is in.



Hospitals in strengthening position

According Ulrika Juhlin’s University Hospital in Orebro declared gain mode.
