Policies. After revelations that former cabinet ministers of different colors have continued to pick out minister’s pension after his retirement while their company attracts millions will now government amend the impugned regulations.

Civil Minister Ardalan Shekarabi (S) writes Dagens Nyheter that the government wants to change the rules so that it no longer is theoretically possible for a former cabinet minister to get the minister’s pension while placing the other income of a corporation for pension will not be affected.

– this is a flaw in the legislation that makes it possible to add the income of companies and thus do not get the countdown of the pension. It’s not fair, says Ardalan Shekarabi said.

According to him, the government has been working on the issue since the change of power. It is about introducing new reconciliation rules, similar to those that have been developed for agency heads. Revenue in the company should be able to reconcile the minister’s pension in much the same way as you do with earnings, mean Shekarabi.
