A woman has been taken to hospital after a near-drowning in the lake. According to information provided to the emergency services, she held on with a scuba diving lesson, reports Jönköping-Posten.
The diver, a woman of 35 years, was picked up from the water at the pier in central Jönköping. The alarm to the emergency services came in at half six o’clock on Wednesday afternoon.
– According to the instructor, she was never below the surface as he could judge, anyway. But we still do not know really what happened and there’s nothing we want to speculate on in this situation, says intervention leader Fredric Malm told the newspaper.
According to police, there might be a sudden illness. There is no information about the woman’s condition.
