Yuusuf Wars Ames siblings, no support – Göteborgs-Posten

Gothenburg Yuusuf Warsame, 8, died at the hand grenade attack in the Bishop’s Palace earlier this week.
 Several children were in the exposed apartment.
 - They were there they saw everything, says a relative.
 But they have not received any support.

The eight-year-old guy Yuusuf Warsame was asleep when someone threw a hand grenade through the window of the apartment he was in.
Yuusuf Warsame, his siblings and mother was visiting relatives here in Gothenburg. In addition to their own siblings were also several other children inside the apartment.
They witnessed the entire incident and has been strongly affected by what they experienced.
– His younger brother told me: “My brother is dead. can you do so he will come back? “a relative told GP.
the relative says now that the children do not stop crying, they find it difficult to sleep and they become afraid of the slightest sound. Yesterday, it was a family member who rattled the pots – the kids panicked.
– They threw themselves screaming. What reaction, said the relative.

Do not know how to talk to kids

He says that the adults do not know how to talk to children about those happened, but feel they need help. But they have not received any support.
– No one has seen the children yet. No psychologist, no professionals, no crisis manager, nothing, he says, and explains that the family has contact with social services in the past.
– Where are they now? They have not called me. They have my number, he says, and continues:
– It’s a scandal.
He believes that it is the social services to take the initiative.

think procedures followed

Tina Liljedahl Scheel, acting Area Director in West Hisingen, is currently the pronouncing her on the issue of social service work. She says that she can not say anything about this particular case.
