Baltic waters are getting better – Västerbotten Courier

The water on the Baltic coast has significantly improved compared to fifteen years ago, but will probably not meet EU requirements, writes DN.

Twice every summer since 2001, there has been sampled at the Svealand coast. At two hundred seats checked, among other things, the levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, salt and oxygen, and temperature.

Despite the improved water quality lies in the requirements of the EU water to be met by 2027.
