Yesterday it was announced that Lena Rådström Baastad take over as party secretary of the Social Democrats after Jämtin. The entry is the second most important in the party, second party chairman.
– The Party Secretary has a very important mission to be involved in shaping future policy and to join in and make social democracy into a modern social movement.
Do you live in Örebro?
– That’s the plan. I will spend many hours on the train. Obviously there will be some nights in Stockholm, but the ambition is clear that there will be more nights in Orebro than Stockholm.
How has the past 24 hours been?
– They have natural way been very bewildering. Just yesterday before the press conference, it felt really great.
