Western Sweden Two schools in Kungälv has withheld their students after the alarm about a gunman seen to Kungalv center.
- We have been told by the police that there were some armed people near the school, says Peter Häyrinen principal at Thorild School.
Many parents have contacted the GP with information about two men, one of whom will be armed, been seen outside two different schools in Kungälv.

– She asked where I was, but I do not know much more about this than, say parents.

Another mother tells GP that her daughter was coming home to school when she and her friends met a man who invited both students and staff entering school and lock the doors when a man with weapons been seen in central Kungälv.

It is still unknown where the people are. According to police, no shots fired around schools.
Tommy Nyman says that he received information that the children have not been home from school.
– They have undeniably been afraid, says Tommy Nyman.
The gunman should first have been seen outside Thorild school in Kungälv and then outside Strandskolan.
– We have been told by the police that there were some armed people near the school but it was not directed against the school. We did an accommodating but now believes the police that the danger is over, says Peter Häyrinen principal at Thorild School.
Shortly after three o’clock Strandskolan announces that the school is not closed anymore. They say that the matter is under control and that they were told by police that “the danger is over.” |
