Right extremist was arrested with Molotov cocktails – Expressen

A 41-year-old right-wing extremist in Eskilstuna was arrested on Sunday night with several Molotov cocktails and any kind of smoke bomb in the car.

He is now under arrest on suspicion of conspiracy to aggravated arson.

the man is already convicted for assaulting people of foreign origin.

– It could hypothetically be Joint offenders, says Lars Franzell, commissioner at the police department for serious crimes in Eskilstuna.

It was at 03 o’clock on the night between Sunday and Monday as the 41-year-old man was stopped in Hagnesta Hill in Eskilstuna. According to the police were involved an ordinary police control.

The man convicted of racist crimes

The man has long ties to right-wing movements. On social media and in various forums, he is open about his sympathies – including the disused Nazi Party of the Swedes.

The man is resident in Eskilstuna. He was previously convicted of a number of crimes.

2006 he was sentenced to three months in prison for assault. The man, who was then 31 years old, attacked people of foreign origin in a bathing area outside Eskilstuna, together with another man.

During the trial it emerged that he wanted to “clean society” from the groups he was not appreciated and that the subject behind the attack was racist.

According to Eskilstuna Courier is the man also previously convicted of assault, assaulting a police officer and abuse of judicial procedure.
