A man in his 50s convicted of several felonies has deviated from his leave on rättspsyk in Uppsala.
He stole a car and in connection with the threatened at least two people. There are reports that he’s armed.
– We’re looking for him, says Bjorn Berglund from Uppsala police.
It was during Wednesday morning as the man was reported missing. He has permission from rättspsyk in Uppsala and was not found at the appointed address.
Now he is wanted by the Uppsala police.
“is really dangerous”
In connection with the disappearance, he went to another address in Uppsala, where it has threatened at least two people. Aftonbladet has been in contact with one of the people who also was robbed of his car.
– He came to my house, pulled out a bunch of drugs and stole my car. I saw when he came to, he was gone.
– We are sitting at a secret location that police have arranged. He’s really dangerous, and the more time passes the more dangerous he becomes, said the person.
Can be armed
Uppsala Police confirm that the man is accused of two counts of assault and theft of conveyances. According to Aftonbladet information the man was also armed with both gun and knife.
– It says something vague about a knife and a gun, but it’s nothing that he is suspected of the moment, says Bjorn Berglund, internal command at Uppsala police.
the man has a criminal record and are convicted of, among other serious weapons offenses, aggravated drunken driving, driving without a license and crimes against knife law to prison for eleven months. In 2012 he was sentenced to psychiatric care by the Svea Court of Appeal.
Looking after him
But in Uppsala police considered the man is not considered dangerous for the public.
– No, it would I can not say. But he’s sitting right there he sat for a reason, but if you leave the man after that for a reason, says Bjorn Berglund.
Police are looking for the man but do not seek actively. There has not been anything out nationwide alert about the man’s deviant.
– It is not so good, says the informant told Aftonbladet.
