After a suspicious object found on the University of Gothenburg area at the Sahlgrenska hospital has police bomb team pulled out to investigate the object.

A suspicious object has been found in connection with the Gothenburg University premises at Sahlgrenska Hospital. Police looking so seriously that bomb group is now in place to examine the object.
– It’s about something that looks like a capsule with a circuit board on. An object that stands adjacent to a building that we want to look at, says Hans Lippens.
According to Hans Lippens, a graduation celebration held at the site, but it was canceled after the discovery of the object. The address is on Medicinaregatan, an address that houses both the dental and medical training.
– The first police patrol the place could not determine what it is for something. So we call the bomb group, then it is a dangerous object or such an instrument, we do not know.
A large area around the site has now been cordoned off while bomb group makes its investigation. The investigation began shortly after 18:30 o’clock on Thursday evening.
At 20:10 notifies police that the object to be shot down.
According to GP’s envoy, the area is cordoned off with police tape 100 meters in one direction and 50 meters on the other. Several police officers and a large insatsbil are in place as well as two fire trucks and at least one ambulance.
Tram transport in the area, according to the police is not affected by the closures.
