Suspected murder of asylum accommodation – Aftonbladet

A woman in her 20s found dead in an asylum accommodation in Jönköping.

Circumstances on the site means that police are investigating the incident as murder.

– a person is reasonably suspected and arrested on suspicion of murder, says Mikael Ehne, duty officer at Jönköping police.

the suspected perpetrator is a man of 25 years old.

the police were alerted to an asylum accommodation in Mariannelund in Eksjö at 13:30 on Sunday. The alarm was initially a damaged alternatively deceased person.

When the police arrived on the scene patrol could say that a woman was dead in the living areas of the accommodation. Circumstances and finds on the site meant that the police launched an investigation into the murder.

– I can not go into what circumstances or findings it is. But because we believe that she has been killed is suspicion of murder, says Mikael Ehne, duty officer at Jönköping police.

The place was sealed off for a forensic examination. Even the coroner were called there.

A man, who early on was deemed interesting for the investigation, was taken in for questioning by police. After questioning the man arrested by the prosecutor on duty on suspicion of murder. He is 25 years old.

Hearings were also held with other people who have been on asylum accommodation.

What type of violence women suffered want the police will not go into.

– We fit it, says Mikael Ehne.

“We are in the start-up”

If the event was preceded by some kind of brawl is unclear.

– I know nothing about now. There is not much we can go out right now. We are in early stages and we are working intensively to hold hearings and secure evidence, says Mikael Ehne.

The dead woman lived in the asylum accommodation and she has been identified by staff at the site.

Michael Ehne explains that the police investigation of technical reasons, can not provide more information on the matter at present. He would not go into what relationship the suspect had to the dead woman or man also belonged at the accommodation or not.
