Abdi Aziz, 5, nearly drowned – “Just thought that he died” – Metro

It was near the end really badly during the Mohamed family outing to the Children’s Farm, which SVT Blekinge was the first to report on.

The five-year-Abdi Aziz Mohamed who can not swim ran after her siblings and then fell into the pool. When the father Khaled Mohamed saw this, he jumped into the water and pulled his son across the surface.

– I thought he was dead, he tells Metro.

The boy’s mother, Sadije Mohamed says that she was extremely worried.

– When he disappeared in the water and I saw it, it was like I just disappeared and I thought that he has died.

Åsa Malm, who owns the Children’s Farm, tells Metro that a woman from Iraq studied the doctor was there and immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the boy. When Åsa Malm came to the scene, they began to pull together.

– In the end, he began to vomit water. We continued and then he was able to breathe on her own. After the ambulance arrived that my staff had called in the meantime. I was very focused and just thought that he must survive. You did not think you would be glad that someone threw up in one’s mouth, but there was one really yesterday.

the boy was treated at the hospital during the night and could now be printed. The family now say that they are extremely grateful for all the help.

– Abdi Aziz feeling well today. The siblings were so worried, too, but when he came home, they were so happy, says Sadije Mohamed.
