Stopping in traffic after the truck accident – Expressen

Two people were injured when a truck drove straight into Södertälje Bridge on E4 on Midsummer morning.

Police urges road users to take alternative routes past the scene of the accident.

– it is located across the road and stopping traffic in total, says Pia Glenvik at Stockholm police.

at 2:34 the night of Midsummer’s Eve, police received the alarm about the violent crash. A truck had then, in unclear ways, driving straight into Södertälje Bridge on E4.

– The truck has turned over on the highway in the southbound direction. It is located across the road and stopping traffic in total, said Stockholm police duty officer Pia Glenvik at 5:30 pm.

Two people were traveling in the truck when the accident occurred. None of them have been seriously injured.

– No one is seriously injured, it’s minor injuries. There were two people in the truck, says Pia Glenvik.

salvor has been sent to the scene, but police could not give a clear projection of how long it will take before the road can be opened up again.

– it is unclear how long the salvage operation takes, and it must be checked if there is any damage to the bridge. It may take until morning, says Pia Glenvik.

Motorists who should pass the accident scene on Midsummer Eve are encouraged to find an alternative route.

– Even if you go to traffic location where it teaches to be rather difficult passable there. It is good if you choose a different path, and then it is good if you do it at an early stage, says Pia Glenvik at Stockholm police.

After Thursday killed a man after having collided with a stationary truck in Boras.
