A nursery school has been destroyed in a fire in Hammarkullen in Gothenburg, during the night. Even an adjacent school building has been subjected to vandalism, among other things, the windows smashed.
– Young people have done damage to schools and nurseries, it has started to burn in the nursery in connection with this, Sell says Staffan Berg, duty officer at the police Western region.
Emergency services struggled the night of Monday to extinguish the fully developed fire. At two o’clock, an hour after the alarm came in, the fire was under control. The main building is reported to have been destroyed.
There was a witness who saw the young people at the school, who alerted.
No one has yet been arrested. Police will conduct a technical study on the site.
