Prime Minister Stefan Löfven warns of negative consequences if the British vote for withdrawal from the EU.
– We must not panic but we wake up to a new political reality, said Löfven in his speech at LO’s Congress.
Löfven says that the government has a plan for how it will act in both a yes to secession and a voice to remain in the EU. He insists that Britain is an important trading partner for Sweden, but also an important partner on many issues of cooperation in the Union.
And it is not a good time now to have a Europe that shatter, according to the Prime Minister.
– But it does not collapse, panic or chaos in Sweden. We can do it, he told reporters after the speech.
