The two men, 29 and 32 years old , has been detained since March and April. Initially, they were suspected of a total of five cases of attempted murder but when prosecutions are brought remain two of these. It reports the Evening Post.
– My ambition is to bring charges next week, said the prosecutor Sofia Eilertsson Olsson to the Evening Post.
It was during the night of 9 March 2014 that four people were attacked on Kristianstadsgatan after participating in a feminist rally earlier in the evening. One of the victims, MFF supporter profile Showan Shattak , was stabbed so hard that he is not yet completely recovered. The week after the attack there was a huge demonstration against the violence in which 15 000 people marched through the city streets under the slogan Fight Malmo .
In November last year, was arrested on 32-year-old Nazi previously been internationally wanted for murder in Ukraine. In February extradited the man then to Sweden, which soon led to the police decided to arrest even a 29-year old man which had previously been current in the investigation.
The 32-year-old prosecuted according to the Evening Post two attempted murder and aggravated assault of Showan Shattak. 29-year-old accused of attempted murder of Shattak and an additional two cases of assault. Both men deny the charges.
