It was a home help who noticed that the man disappeared from his home.
On Thursday, the police decided that the event should be upgraded to a ‘special event for the region to use their collective capabilities in the search. Military helps to look for the man. A field team has been established in the parish hall at Särö church.
The man who sought is 179 cm tall, have thick gray hair and a gray beard and is probably wearing red / gray cardigan and boots. The man normally go with a walker but can move without. The walker as the man uses was the disappearance remain in the home.
During the day, it has come up a few tips to the police, but nothing that has led to the man could be found.
– we have received some tips from people who may have seen him. But what we do is of course to check the places where he might have been. So far it has not given anything, said police spokesperson Ulla Brehm at 16 o’clock.
