Surgeon reported by the employer – Västerbotten Courier

A spine surgeon reported by his former employer, Region Östergötland, after a large number of misses in the job, reports Corren.se.

The doctor has previously been notified eight times to the medical Responsibility and which received two written warnings. He has also been involved in two lex Maria complaints and received a verbal warning from the employer, who now believes that he may be a danger to patients’ safety.

During the last year reported 27 patient cases involving the doctor. Among other things, was the poor treatment and lack of medical records.

The doctor was taken out of service and resigned in April.
