427 higher education programs can be set up in the autumn, according to SVT. The reason is that no competent sought them.
The programs that are no students constitute 13 percent of the 3,385 planned university programs and the proportion is roughly the same each year.
According to Education and the Higher Education Council it is difficult to find any explanation for why the sites are empty. No training or higher education stands out.
– There is absolutely no pattern. It may be that the supply does not match demand, but it may also have been poor at marketing training, says the investigator Carina Hellgren said.
