Disturbances in blue light radio – Västerbotten Courier

Disturbances in blue light radio – Västerbotten Courier

During the first half of the first day was the disruption in communication Rachel used by police, ambulance and emergency services. It argued inter alia that it took longer for the operators at SOS Alarm to make contact with a unit in the field. Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) put in extra staff and announced at noon that the interference was resolved. How disturbances occurred is still unclear.

– I do not want to go into it because we have not done any in-depth investigative analysis. We have made steps on both sides of the system, both Rachel system and SOS Alarm, says Jenny Levin, who is the delivery charge for Rachel at the MSB.

Rachel stands for radio communications for effective management and is a nationwide system .
