A jet exploded in a bathing outside Växjö.
Two people were injured in the accident, which occurred when the watercraft was refueled.
The incident happened at 13 o’clock on Thursday on a bathing in Öjaby outside Växjö.
– A jet has exploded after refueling. I do not know what the reason, says Anders Brodell, fire chief in store at Värends rescue.
Two boys were taken to hospital after the accident, reports news agency TT.
– The watercraft was just nytankad and two boys in the age of twelve sat down and started. Most likely, it has come out petrol fumes inside the hull. There was an explosion, a giant puff there, says Tony Hultgren, team leader at Värends rescue service said.
According to Tony Hultgren parted watercraft hull by the explosion. The two boys ended when in the water, but should not have been seriously injured.
