Cassandra Mattsson Klatzkow was called on Thursday from an unknown number. The man who called claiming to be from the police in Sollentuna and told me that her mother had died in a car accident, which Newsweek previously written about.
– I spent quite shocked, but after a while it dawned on me that it was not true. It was the way he formulated on that made me understand that he was joking, says Cassandra who quickly got angry.
– I was so damn angry and scolded the person and said it was totally sick mind. But he continued to say that my mother was dead, then I put on, she says.
Cassandra works as a journalist and communicator, and explains that she is a public person. She also believed that the caller wants to hurt her.
– It felt like it was directed specifically against me. It was threatening and that someone wants to hurt me. It’s really uncomfortable, says Cassandra.
The man called back shortly thereafter , but Cassandra chose not to respond. Instead, she called her mother to ensure that she was okay.
– She was feeling good, of course, and also became very angry over the call. She also promised not to drive during the day, Cassandra says with a laugh.
The call Cassandra has now decided to notify the police.
– I made a police report, although I do not think the police will take this further, she says.
