Today, the Christian Democrats’ local branch in Uppsala decided to nominate Ebba Busch Thor party leader after Göran Hägglund resigned.
Ebba Busch Thor has been described as one of the top names after Hägglund and in the 2014 election got Busch Thor 2477 personal votes, which was more crosses than any other politician in Uppsala.
“The 2014 election was the Christian Democrats, the only party in the ruling alliance which went ahead in the municipal elections, largely thanks Busch Thor leadership, “writes KD in Uppsala on his website.
– Busch Thor accepted the nomination, says Felicia Lundqvist, organizing secretary of the Youth League KDU in a press release.
Busch Thor has been a Christian Democrat councilor in Uppsala Municipality since 2010. Busch Thor is also a member of the party’s Central Directorate and the Christian Democrat deputies to the European Parliament.
According gaming companies are also Ebba Busch Thor the one that most believe will succeed Göran Hägglund as new party leader.
