News Pressure on Migration Board is increasing, making the money that the government allocated is not enough.
More and more people seeking asylum in Sweden, increasing the pressure on the Swedish Migration Board, writes Aftonbladet.
It is about approximately 10 000 more people per year than the previous forecast. Hence the need for more money, believe Migration Board – total cost will be 157 billion until 2019, an increase of more than 18 billion from the last forecast.
Most of the money will go to payments to municipalities for, among other things, accommodation costs, financial aid and health care.
That the number of asylum seekers has doubled since 2011 has meant that the processing time at the Migration Board has become longer.
