– We will not be able to save the building, except perhaps an office, says Theresa Gustafsson, internal officers of the emergency services in Jämtland.
She states that the building, which houses a company that cuts and packages the wood, can be 1500-2000 square meters.
Witnesses said, according to Östersund-Posten newspaper, that explosions are heard over the place.
– We have information that the cylinders are in the building says Gustafsson.
She says that the job now is to save adjacent buildings such as garages and homes.
No injuries were reported and no people have so far been evacuated.
