Assange to appeal to the Supreme Court – Business World

In a final attempt to persuade the Swedish legal system to dismiss the charges against him think of Julian Assange to appeal to the Supreme Court today Wednesday, reports The Guardian.

Julian Assange is arrested in absentia on suspicion of sex offenses against two women in Sweden in 2010.

Since the summer of 2012, he has been hiding in Ecuador’s embassy in London to avoid being extradited to Sweden.

Assange appealed the District Court’s warrant of arrest in September of last year. In late November, the Court of Appeals decision stands. During Wednesday plans WikiLeaks founder to take the matter to the next instance and appeal the decision to the Supreme Court, writes The Guardian.
