Asylum seekers are again on the way to Långserud – Swedish Radio

Asylum seekers are again on the way to Långserud – Swedish Radio

The 13 asylum seekers who previously refused to leave the bus, which late last night stood at the police headquarters in Karlstad, left this morning voluntarily bus and returned to the asylum accommodation Långserud.

It was yesterday that a bus with refugees ran from accommodation in Skara neighborhood to Långserud, but they refused to leave the bus when they saw the conditions there. The bus then drove to the police station in Karlstad.

This morning came the Swedish Migration Board to the scene with two mini buses. Agency Head in Värmland, Lotta Anderberg, was also there and talked to the 13 asylum seekers who were in the bus.

Then, evacuated the bus, and the asylum seekers went by minibus back to Långserud.

– The people think that Långserud is very remote and that standard was not okay at the facility, says Lotta Anderberg to P4 Värmland.

She can not comment on what promises asylum seekers received in connection with that they left the refugee accommodation Skara.

– But what I understand it has been informed that they would go to Karlstad, and there’s a slight difference in Karlstad and Långserud. I have apologized, if the information has not gone quite right, says Lotta Anderberg, adding that the apology was well received.

What is the accommodation in Långserud?

– It is a facility accommodation with 70 seats. It’s an okay living, according to my standards. It is quite remote.

According to several asylum seekers P4 Värmland has spoken to restrict accommodation Långserud, with its location, the opportunities to make contacts and establish themselves. “It is in the middle of nowhere,” said an asylum seeker.

– I will follow up to Långserud and look at how it looks, says Lotta Anderberg.
