A man in his 30s was arrested during the night of Thursday on suspicion of arson after a villa in Finspong started to burn.
In the afternoon, the police raid at a different address in the city – where a woman in her 20s was found dead.
– We have established a notification of murder. It is likely that these two cases related to each other, said police spokesman Frederick Kliman.
At 13:30 pm on Thursday, police carried out a search warrant at a residence on the Great The avenue in Finspong.
– The patrol that was inside the home encountered a deceased woman. When called in technical personnel and the right doctor to the site, since it was suspected that the woman had been exterminated, that she would not have died in a natural way, says Fredrik Kliman, spokesman for police in Östergötland.
