A 45-year old man disappeared from his friends at 14:30 in the afternoon. The bad weather conditions complicate the search.
The man was out and went snowmobiling with a group of friends in the back of Areskutan, ate Huså-direction. At 17 o’clock the man was reported missing.
– It is very bad weather in the area right now. There are degrees above zero and the wind blows strongly and rains, says August Knutsson, duty officer at the police in Jämtland.
Twelve mountain rescuers searching the man and the police is in place. The operation will continue in the evening and at night depending on developments.
